SRC (Surf Rescue Certificate)  


The Surf Rescue Certificate (SRC) course is the entry-level qualification for becoming a patrolling surf lifesaver, available to participants starting at age 13. This course equips individuals with the essential skills needed for active patrol duties, including rescue techniques, first aid, and resuscitation.

It is an expectation that all candidates commit to at least one season of beach patrols. Approximately five patrols are rostered per member.

 

PREREQUISITE

  • Swim - 200m in under 5 minutes

  • 13-14 years of age

WHEN: Monday 16th - Saturday 21st December, 2024. 

WHERE: SLSLE, Main Beach, Lakes Entrance

TIME: SRC candidates attended 0800 - 1700 

COST SRC $250 ($170 for members)
