About SLSLE
The Lakes Entrance Surf Life Saving Club is nestled amongst the beautiful 90 Mile beach in East Gippsland with golden sand as far as the eye can see.
When you visit Lakes Entrance main beach in summer you will see a team of volunteer life savers and lifeguards at Lakes Entrance Main Beach and Eastern Beach, either in the patrol area, on boards or out swimming in their traditional red and yellow uniform to provide a safe beach environment for the local community and holiday makers ensuring everyone has a safe and fun day at the beach.
We strive to build a club culture that is supportive and encourages personal development and long-lasting friendships.
Our education and training programs we run are one of the best in the state delivering skills needed to keep our beaches safe. We offer our members, nipper program, competition, education, sporting, leadership, personal development and social and health opportunity to further their development.
With approximately 385 members and with that number increasing we strive to grow our club with a family friendly culture whilst at the same time creating healthy, strong, responsibly and dynamic individuals within the community.
SLSLE Membership
STEP 1 - Obtain Your Working With Children Check (WWCC)
ALL members aged 18 years and older must hold a WWCC (exception is Social Pass Holder).
Many people already hold a WWCC with another organisation. If this is the case for you, you must update your WWCC
by adding Surf Life Saving Lakes Entrance and Life Saving Victoria to your list of organisations.
If you do not hold a WWCC, you must apply for one.

Get Active Kids Voucher Program
For details about Get Active Kids Voucher program.
Eligible children may receive up to $200 to cover the costs for membership and registration fees.
Round 9 of the Program will open at 10am on October 15.
