Bronze Camp  

Our annual Bronze Camp provides an excellent opportunity to learn new skills, offering physical and personal development. At the conclusion of the camp you’ll be able to patrol our local beaches; an invaluable community service, all while having FUN. 

It is an expectation that all candidates commit to at least one season of beach patrols. Approximately five patrols are rostered per member.

The 6 day camp every December camp covers two aquatic rescue awards; the Surf Rescue Certificate (SRC) for 13 & 14 year olds and Bronze Medallion for those aged 15 and above. 

PREREQUISITE

• Minimum age 15 years

• Swim - 400m in under 9 minutes

WHEN: 15th - 21st December, 2024. 
Bronze candidates stay on camp.

WHERE: SLSLE, Main Beach, Lakes Entrance  

COST: $350 ($250 for members)
